Women's Healthcare on the Line:

The Pro-Voice Project is proud to present Women's Healthcare on the Line: Idaho Physicians Speak, a new stage production amplifying the voices of Idaho doctors practicing under the state's strict abortion ban, within the landscape of a growing healthcare desert.

Since Dobbs, 43% of Idaho's OBGYNs (114 of 268) left the state, stopped practicing obstetrics, retired, or closed their practice. The exodus disproportionately affects rural areas, with only 23 OBGYNs remaining to serve areas outside of major population centers.Now 500,000+ Idahoans have to drive 30 min to 2+ hours for care.

Physician stories are vital, and now it's time to hear them. Behind each of these statistics is a doctor on the front lines of reproductive healthcare, struggling to provide care in often impossible circumstances.
